It’s really easy to use a non contact thermometer and I’ll give you an example with our device the TRITEMP™. You simply switch it on, and then at a straight angle just about in between where the eyebrows would meet. You hold it three to five centimeters from the patient’s forehead, and you get the reading in one second. You can actually then retake the reading if you want to in five seconds. So it’s very quick, very easy, non invasive, and it frees up time for very busy nurses to care for their patients.
